Our preacher is Mark
Reynolds.
Mark married Mindy Botkin
in 1991 and together they have three daughters: Cassidy,
Abby and Corinne. Mark and his family come to us from
Indiana where he had been preaching since 1993. In
addition to his local work he has also made six trips to
Tanzania, East Africa, and three trips to Russia and
Jamaica respectively. He also preaches on several
gospel meetings and lectureships each year.
Mark
is the editor of a bi-monthly paper called Upon the
Rock, which emphasizes the fundamentals of the
faith. He also directs the annual Upon the Rock
lectureship in Muncie, Indiana.
Mark
graduated from the Memphis School of Preaching in 1999
where he received the Outstanding Student Award and was
the president of his class. He also holds a Bachelors
of Science degree in Liberal Studies from Amridge
University, formerly Southern Christian University.
Mindy
holds a degree from Ball State University in Elementary
Education, which comes in handy as she home schools
their three daughters.
Mark,
Mindy and their family are excited to be living in South
Carolina, and feel very blessed to be working with the
Charlotte Avenue Church of Christ.
